Every year, the Sesame Access team and their families wrap up warm, get their snow boots on, and gear up to hit the slopes in Poland - it's tradition!
This year, a group of us, ranging from beginners to intermediates and experienced skiers, braved the mountains and spent the weekend skiing at Białka Tatrzańska in Southern Poland.
The weekend was packed with adventure, laughter, and even a broken arm (oops). Each day was spent exploring the slopes, from green to black runs; everyone got stuck in.
Evenings were just as entertaining as the days, with the team enjoying hearty Polish cuisine while drinking a little more than we probably should have. We also spent an evening at Terma Bania, using the waterpark facilities and open-air swim-up bar.
Trips like these are more than just a chance to enjoy the snow, they strengthen our team spirit and boost morale during the gloomy month of January.
One thing we always reflect on during these trips is our privilege to participate in these activities without facing barriers. It reminds us how grateful we are to do this without a second thought, and it fuels our commitment to creating products that empower people with disabilities worldwide, allowing them to explore and adventure with ease.
