Business of Design Week Hong Kong

Business of Design Week (BODW), the annual event hosted by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), aims to provide insights into future design trends through a programme of talks, forums and masterclasses in venues across Hong Kong and online. Throughout the week, over 100 local and international speakers discuss topics such as connected health, safe travel and the circular economy under the theme Vision20/21. Speakers include Thomas Heatherwick, Sou Fujimoto and Elaine Yan Ling Ng.

BODW participants also have the opportunity to join a networking platform which enables them to connect and start conversations with others in the event community.

Business of Design Week takes place from 30 November to 5 December 2020 at various locations across Hong Kong and online.

We are so excited to take part of this event and get the chance to talk to architects/designers in Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

WE want to share our vision for all buildings to be access friendly everywhere in the world. We have designed and installed our disabled access lifts into multiple countries including, Sydney Opera House, Seattle Space Needle, Qatar National Library, Knock Basilica and Apple Store Strasburg.

We love exporting and want to continue to reach other markets around the world and provide Bespoke Disabled Access to them all.

We hope that by taking part we can show designers our products and work with some to design disabled access for them. We think it is important to educate people the importance of disabled access in society and how a building having disabled access will positively impact the company.

A practical and welcoming attitude to disabled shoppers does a lot to boost positive reputation and can also help to avoid claims being made under UK anti-discrimination legislation, whether by employees or customers. (Retrieved from https://retailnext.net/en/blog...)
